We've driven by the beaches off and on for a couple of days, today was the day to stop and play!
Sunset State Beach won our vote.
A short hike down to the beach....
We tucked ourselves right under the side of the bluff for a wonderful wind break

The boys found a great spot and dumped out their toys
Before long, Ty couldn't stand it any longer and had to get his feet wet

We headed back to camp and took a swim in the pool after dinner.
Then it was time to celebrate Rich's Birthday (a week or so late) with fresh strawberries from up the road and ice cream.
Luckily there were presents so we had some paper to start the fire
