Today was the 10th Annual Sacramento Museum Day, opening 24 area museums from 10-5 for free. DH had heard about it earlier in the week, so we took advantage. We started at the Aviation Museum, the big planes were a huge hit. We were able to go inside one of the Coast Guard planes, the boys were able to sit in the cockpit and look out all the windows. Way fun! Lots of big and small things to see. Then we headed downtown to the Auto Museum. This was also a good one for the boys, a huge variety of things to see. We were also able to smash some pennies. (This has become our favorite souvenir, it only costs $0.51, and we have a cool book to store them in.) It wasn't very crowded either, so it was easy to maneuver our stroller and keep track of the big one. Since we were already down town, we decided to walk around Old Town for a bit, check out the awesome toy store, Evangilines and the mega candy store. After our second meltdown, we decided to pack it in for the day. After a not so quick potty stop, we walked paced the old school house and made a detour, lame! Off to the car we went. We had a fun day, even with DH losing his sunglass. (He finally called the toys store and they had them, Thanks God!) So here's our day in pictures, enjoy!
