In hopes of a mellow morning, we tried a new pumpkin patch this year.
The Flower Farm Inn in Loomis
They have a lovely, small cafe that offered a nice breakfast and busy coffee bar.
There was a pet parade scheduled on the day we went, but even with the extra people, it was great.
There are not a lot of bells and whistles, no hayrides or bounce houses. They do offer a quiet morning in the country, with a cute scavenger hunt around characters made from pumpkins, animals and charm.
They also have a wine tasting room, but we didn't stay that long.
