Mid September lent itself for the perfect weekend for a getaway with the girls. A friend has a cabin in Tahoe and was gracious enough to host us. We had a wonderful time catching up and taking a break from "real life".
When we headed up it was raining, by dinner time it was snowing a bit, but we woke up the next day to beautiful weather. We were able to go on a peaceful walk, then to lunch and a stroll through town before heading back home. It was great!
The boys had a fun weekend hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa S on Saturday, then spent Sunday at the beach with Dad.
Dad picked up some boogie boards and rented wet suits to play for the day.
Reports were that they had a great time, even though Tyler got cold and had to get out a lot sooner than Cody.
