Pumpkin Patch.....

We headed out to hunt pumpkins this morning at Dave's Pumpkin Patch in West Sacramento.  It was fun to try out a new place.

The first thing we did after a few photo ops was the jumping pillow.

 Then the hay bale maze.....

A sit in the corn boxes.....

Some time checking out the chickens....
This little one could fit through the wire squares on the cage, then she would mess around for a bit and hop back in.

To the top of the hay bail stack to check out the sites.

Then we headed over to one of the main attractions, the pumpkin chucker.
The guy running it was very nice and let the boys look at it up close to see how the air cannon works.
Ty picked the next pumpkin up for chucking.....

Click on these pictures to see the pumpkins flying through the air....
 or exploding....

They have a haunted corn maze that is open on Fri/Sat nights, fun photo place outside!
Next up, a stroll through the corn maze.
We made it out, but not through the correct path.  It was a bit hard to figure out which paths were the right ones.
A hay ride around the pumpkin patch.

After the hay ride, we found a wagon and headed out on our pumpkin hunt.

Cody was searching and searching for the perfect pumpkin

Ty found his pumpkin pretty quickly
(actually, it was one that Cody had set aside as a maybe)
 Waiting for brother.....

 Found it, we think....

After this, he headed back over to the patch and found a more perfect pumpkin.

Heading out with the final choices.

We had a good day.  Next year we are going to go back to Bishop's as it's still #1 on our list.
