We were very excited to head down to Half Moon Bay for Florence and Stu's wedding weekend.
We were booked into the Oceano Hotel, right on the bay, a welcome break from life and our crazy summer heat.
View from our room
We met Florence's family for the first time, who were all lovely.
Then it was time to go down to the rehearsal.
Saturday evening we were treated to an authentic Chinese meal at Koi Palace.
Tyler won the food bravery award for the night, trying most things that landed on our table.
It was delicious!
The boys took off Sunday morning to a trip to K1 Speed.
There was a tea ceremony midday, before the wedding ceremony, where Florence and Stu served tea to her immediate family members.
Then we hung around for a few pictures before the ceremony.
Give the gymnast stretchy pants and grass, tricks will come out.
We took advantage of new hair do's and spiffy clothes to get some school year portraits done.
It takes a few to land on the right one
Waiting for Florence to change from her tea dress to her wedding gown for pictures.
Gorgeous day
Outside of the reception room, there was a set of cornhole boards, frisbees, and bubbles to keep us occupied.
Going to see Stu for the first time.
Ahhh.
Lots of cute little touches all over the place, a lot that Florence did herself.
The dessert bar!
Groom's carrot cake
Wedding cake- strawberry shortcake
Gifts we could take home.
Then it was time for flowers before the ceremony.
The two nieces were given flower crowns.
Fancy.

Goofy bunch.
