Folsom Cyclebration Treasure Hunt...

Saturday we took advantage of our soccer bye week and headed over to Folsom for the Cyclebration. They had a family treasure hunt that sounded like fun so we searched around and found a trailer for Ty and we were off.
Grandpa and Ty getting ready to go...

Once registered we had our map....
At each stop we had to answer a question or do a task, so at the first stop we had to find some information about the Folsom Powerhouse.

Next we stopped at the chocolate shop to find out how many chocolate confections they made last year (531,000!)

We rewarded here for our hard work...

Then to the Folsom train yard to search out some more answers...

Hard work!

At the train table, we were to turn it half a turn and then have it signed off by the staff.

Grandpa hopped on to encourage them...

All done!
Next we went to the bike shop and bakery, but they only had a table set up out front and a person giving us answers. But they had lemonade, so not all was lost.

We headed over the bridge and found out when it was dedicated, then to find out what the first settler's main diet was...
After this we headed over the foot bridge and looked for the amount of the fine for going faster than the walkers ($5), headed back up the hill to the Folsom Zoo to write down the names of two of the bears as our last stop.

We were then rewarded with goody bags full of vendor discounts and snacks and the boys were giving gift certificates for free meals at Round Table and Island burgers as well as free dessert from Macaroni Grill!
