Highlight of the trip: the train table of course.
They topped off the night with hot chocolate, the good kind from Starbucks. Fun!

Tuesday was Tyler's 1st field trip, he was very excited to finally have one of his own! His school, all three classes, went to the library and had a story time all their own, then to the park for a picnic.
Throw in soccer, a Pampered Chef party (open until Saturday if you need anything), jogging, school book orders, and general weekly stuff, we're as busy as usual!

"Bye Buddy!" I said
I spoke with one of his teachers and with one of the moms that stayed and it sounds like he had a great day. His teacher said he did great and they didn't have any issues. He was quite, which I expected, but answered questions when asked. He sat at story and sang songs during circle time.

And yes, I was the mom on the sideline, yelling and "encouraging." It will be fun to see if some of the shy kids will open up and see the team evolve over the next couple of months. With any luck we'll survive the season, clear through mid November!

I also plan on hitting up Evangeline's in Old Sac next time we're there because I know they have a whole wall of patches. Hopefully we can find some that are Kindergarten appropriate.
This was a lot of work, hand sewing through canvas and patches is not easy on the hands, but he loves his bag. I love it because it's not going to go out of style next year!
Taco Lettuce Cups:
This was the team by the end of the game, all of them fighting over who got the ball. Hopefully they'll get over that and realized they are on the same team.
It was a good game and great for the kids to finally see what it means to play against another team. Only a few hurt feelings here and there, over all I think it went great! This is my Saturday, starting next weekend through mid Nov, wishes of sanity are highly appreciated.
