Today was Cody's 1st official league game. Both teams did a great job and it's nice to finally be at game day so they can understand what they've been practicing for. Cody had a great game, listened pretty well to the coaches, is learning to stay away from his team mates and scored a couple of goals.

The weather was a quite cloudy, but it only sprinkled on us a few times. This was about 5 minutes before they ended it started up some more, Cody is trying to catch the drops in his mouth.

And yes, I was the mom on the sideline, yelling and "encouraging." It will be fun to see if some of the shy kids will open up and see the team evolve over the next couple of months. With any luck we'll survive the season, clear through mid November!
