Cody's 1st game....

Cody's team had a scrimmage Wed night against another Orangevale team, a team we'll probably play again at some point during the season. So officially it's the first actual game he's played, uniforms and all. He was beyond excited and ready to get at it.

As both teams are OV and have the same jerseys, our team put on the black pennies.

Here we go and he has the ball! He was down to their goal pretty quickly and scored the first goal.

This was the team by the end of the game, all of them fighting over who got the ball. Hopefully they'll get over that and realized they are on the same team.

It was a good game and great for the kids to finally see what it means to play against another team. Only a few hurt feelings here and there, over all I think it went great! This is my Saturday, starting next weekend through mid Nov, wishes of sanity are highly appreciated.
