We arrived to the gates before they officially opened, but they sold us tickets and let us in anyway. They have ropes up that keep you from going to the various wings of the park, so we hung out in the front court and watched a dance party by the fountain.
Then they took a spin around in Harold...
There are a lot of water features in the park. The morning fog kept things cool and it never did warm up to the point of uncomfortable. We have big plans to go back for a water day...
There were also some spinning tea-cups, big swings, pirate ship and hot air balloons.
Next was the beginning of our animal tour.
We started off by going through the shark exhibit. They have a really cool tunnel you walk under and the sharks and fish are all around you...
After all that it was finally time for some lunch. A stop at the burger shack and we were back at it again.
The first stop after lunch was to see the butterflies.
They have an awesome walk through exhibit with butterflies flying all around and a pond in the middle with giant koi.
After watching some of the big rides that we weren't tall enough for, we headed over to a huge play structure for a bit.
Then they road some rides in Tava's Jungle. These were geared for the youngest crowd, and almost too tame for the boys.
But while riding these....
After the boys and I took a spin in another set of balloons, and by spin I mean a spinning basket that had me walking silly for a good 5 minutes, the boys wanted to ride more swings.
We warned them that they were slower than the first set, but they had to try...
Then after stopping for some treats, we hit up one last ride. We thought Ty was tall enough to ride a Whale jumping ride, but he was about a 1/2 an inch too short. So Cody and Keith took a ride and we watched some dolphins.
Then we found this jewel for a last spin...
