Things went much better as we rounded out the second week of swim lessons. They switched instructors, and Cody loved his new one, making a huge difference in how he felt about things.
Confidence was also brought on by a $0.75 pair of goggles.

It was a good experience, in the end. Cody learned to trust his instructors and started the basics of swimming. At the end of July we are signed up for round #2, moving up a couple of steps to start some strokes and actual swimming.
