Kellog's Rice Krispie's House Party

We were lucky enough to be selected to host another House Party!  This time it was sponsored by Rice Krispies.  I've always thought it would be fun to host a Halloween party, complete with costumes and games.  We were a bit lacking on costumes, but had games and a good time!
The Party pack arrived...
Good Bags for our guests, including plastic scraper/spatulas
Guess how many candies in the jar.
Sweet Treats: lots of Rice Krispies Treats and home made donuts
Meatballs, potato rounds, chips and veggie straws.  There was also a very sad veggie tray.
Cody's cool robot costume...

Pumpkin bowling
 Pumpkin decorating
 Donuts on a string

We had fun.  Unfortunately a lot of our friends that had planned to come ended up getting sick.  We were very grateful for those that were able to make it!

Harvest Festival

The charter school we use for homeschooling sponsored a harvest festival for all their families.  It was quiet the event and the whole thing was free!  They had all kinds of games, pumpkin painting, face painting, crafts and a hot dog lunch.   The boys had a great time and ran into a couple of friends they have met through their enrichment classes.

They came away with lots of candies and little prizes from all the games.  So glad we were able to go, it was a lot of fun!
